- Edwardian Cartier Paris Carved Indian Emeralds. Two stunning Cartier jewels formally belonging to Lady Victoria Sackville of Knole, Kent. A notorious accumulator of money, furniture and jewels. Two old carved Indian emeralds of unusual size, the work of Mughal jewelers in Delhi. Both mounted by Cartier Paris. The largest is mounted as a brooch and was sold in the 1980′s at Bonham’s London to Fred Leighton. The pendant on cord is mounted in a frame of arabesque-style carved rock crystal and diamonds.Whereabouts of pendant is unknown.
